What do these wires go to?

Hi guys,

I bought this wire harness and there seems to be a plug missing. I was wondering if you could help me figure out what it goes to. Its at the end of the harness...2 blue, 2 red and 2 black. The harness sits on to the intake manifold

Hi,

It looks like your missing the cam and crank sensor connectors. I might be wrong, but that's my best guess.

They are the crankshaft position sensor, A/C compressor, and evaporative emission purge solenoid valve.

1995 Eclipse GSX Manual Wire Harness on top of Intake Manifold

1. Map Sensor
2. TPS Sensor (plug not there, but has a Black...Yellow...Green and Brown Wire)
3. ???Cam angle sensor or Power Transistor Pack
4. Injector 1
5. Coil Pack
6. Injector 2
7. Injector 3
8. AC Compressor
9. Injector 4
10.???
11. ??? 6 Wires 2 Black...2 Red and 2Blue

You are missing 2 other green triangle plugs. One will be for AC, one will be for the crank angle sensotr, and one with be for the coil pack. What are the colors on the one triangle plug that you have?

How many triangle plugs are there?

#5 is for the coil pack and #8 is for the AC

#5 has 3 wires
1 blue wire with red line
2 blue wire with black line
3 black wire with white

#8 has 3 wires
1 green wire with red line
2 white wire with green line
3 black wire with white line


I just checked out RRE's site and i think I'm missing the cam and crank sensor plugs.....Both of those have one red, blue and black wire.

Now which is for which? The only difference that seperates the 2 is that on the first set the blue wire has a red line on it and the second set it has a white line on the blue wire.

Could someone check out their wiring really quick

Okay I just went out and looked at my car so I think I should have what you are looking for.

#3 is a power TR unit plug

3 below are the triangle plugs
AC will have black, white/green and green/red wires
crank angle sensor will have black, red and blue/white wires
coil pack will have black/white, blue/black and blue/red wires

There are 3 trinagle plugs, AC, coil pack and crank.

So,

#3 is the Power Transistor
#8 is the AC

Red/ Black and the Blue/White is the Triangular plug which is the crank sensor

So the Red/Black and Blue/Red is the Cam angle sensor?

Whats #10?

Hi,

#10 is a ground wire on the upper side of the intake manifold
# 11 is the crank sensor triangular plug with 3 wires (black, red and blue-white) and a cam sensor rectangular plug with 3 wires (red, black and blue-red)
#3 is power transitor

#10 plugs onto something on the intake manifold.

Just read my post above and it will tell you which color wires belong to the 3 triangle sensors.

#10 plugs onto something on the intake manifold.

A 95 I worked on had a cap of some sort bolted to the intake mani that #10 connected too.
