mid to low 11's with this setup

Trying to hit atleast 11.5 this year..... here are following mods.

91 tsi awd
no balance shafts,
cometic hg
arp head studs.
Tre Godzilla Turbo ported... 25+ psi
modded starion fmic 2/5 hardpipes
walbro 255 hp
adjustable fpr
550's
afc
ipo propane injection
wedled center diff
dyno tuned
3" turbo back exhaust
ported 2g manifold, ported 02 housing.
 
Hi,

What are you using for tuning, super AFC or dsm link? I would recommend dsm link. Also, like said before, get a good FMIC and for sure bigger injectors.

Maybe if you take out 20+% of the weight of your car..... Anything is possible, but I would seriously say you need to lighten the car up and do what CanadianTSI said too.
 
I would try some cams (specifically Crower because of my good experience with them) to help the engine take some deeper breaths that the Godzilla will be dishing out. And a healthy dose of weight reduction too.

You can only do so much with an AFC, if you just adjust it in small ammounts its fine, but you try to run 650's + or so , you run into pulling out so much air that the ECU advances time to oblivion. I was running 780's on a 2g MAS and S-AFC, was seeing 25-28* of timing advance during 3rd gear pulls, WAY to much. Just get a chipped ECU and the AFC works fine. Or if your a baller get DSMLink, its the way to go.
 
Yah, some people have luck with it, some don't, I know I couldn't do shit with my 780's. It also depends on how much air your moving , turbowise, what maf your using, a bunch of other things, but the bigger injector you go, the more problems you will run into with timing.
 
with a name like godzilla i was really excpecting a bigger turbo.....I wouldn't pay a grand for that....but trading for a 14b sounds like a pretty good deal
 
Its not a bad thing to have a folder with what you're planning on having as far as mods and research you've done. I was going to use DSMLink, but took a look around my garage and saw what I HAVE NOT used yet. I still had TMO software and an MSD 6212(programable) ign. box. I'd say add a 2g mas to your mod list, thats good for almost 500hp. A clipped turbo will spool slower as well.
 
If you are full weight, you will never hit that with that setup. Why you ask?

TD06H Godzilla turbo rated for 430hp (ideal) You will need close to 500hp realistically to pass the 12 second barrier.
550cc injectors can only support about 380 hp.
Starion front mounts are very inefficient, so expect your IATs to skyrocket.

Things not considered:
You will overrun your MAS
Your clutch will not hold

To hit mid 11's:
Get a real turbo- AGP is having specials on their RS49T for 700 bucks.
Real front mount- Buschur makes a fine kit
750cc injectors
ACT 2600 clutch and fidanza flywheel
2G MAS, DSMlink with speed density, GM MAF + translator

Now if you are one of the prized few you will hit 11's on that setup

There are so many things wrong with your statement. First off if he needs a turbo like the agp Rs49t to get into the 11s, then go talk to the people doing it with a 16g and 14b. Second, where is the horsepower limited sticker on 550 injectors? I must of missed that one. Do you realize with propane injection thats going to allow him alot more "breathing" room with 550s? Your a typical I say what I read Dsmtuner.
 
whoa, when i looked at that godzilla i was expecting a really turbo, like a 60-1 or someting. instead, i see something that could be sucked through a 50 trim. personally, when you get that as a trade, i would sell it and then go with a 50 trim and also get 660cc injectors, and a good fmic. im hoping to run 12s on a similar setup to what i am describing with my 2g.
