just put in a set of 550 cc inj. was running rich for about 2 days unit i got my pocket logger have it tuned ok low throttle and high , but around 6g in 3rd gear it starts to stutter a bit so i let off right away, i'm running a 16g sotck fpr, walbro 195 rewired, stock open downpipe ;) 550cc safcII, and Using A Pocket Logger, Air Temp Was 50 F, 92V For The O2 Sensor And 3 -4 Counts Of knock, 6000-7000 has about +5 air Corr. Any Ideas, bad plugs or wires, or the start of fuel cutt, havent hit it hard yet so i dont really know , any suggestions would be greatly helpful thanks for your time :)

There's no softness to hitting fuel cut, it hits and hits hard. Like you said, it's probably the plugs or more than likely the wires if it's sputtering. Had that happen a couple times. gl

From my experiance with fuel cut it doesn't "stutter"; it stops you hard enough that you think you broke your engine. The ecu doen't cut a little fuel then put more back to cause a stutter. It thinks that you are about to break the engine so it cut all fuel delivery, this causes a violent jerk. I think you should look elsewhere for your problems.

thanks for your advice everyone i'll look into getting some new plugs and wires, and i'll try that out/ THANKS AGAIN :) ngk better than bosh? i have always used ngk just wanted to know what everone used/

Definitely NGK 7es. Besides the plug and wires, I would check for boost leak as well.

i have been using bosch plugs for years. but then, i use WR7DTC. depending on your boost, you might be experiencing mas overrun. when i had a big 16g, 550's and 2.5" turbo back, at 18 lbs boost i got mas overrun right about 6k. then, with a 2g mas, the 550's were maxxed out, idc was high 80-low 90's. also, your tuning will never be right unless you get an adjustable fpr.

ic/ i'll have to look into one in the next week or so , i'm gettings some nck plugs, performance plug wires so we'll see what happens thanks agian everyone for your time :thumb:

Yup i am sure its wires or plugs! ui am getting fuel cutt! and iuts not no stutter hahah its a bad ass jerk haha tried to race last nite and i hit fuel cut in first gear hahah and it was carzy hahaahh smoke and car feelt like i broke my motor so good luck with your problem and hope you fix it soon i still got this damn fuel cut ahah what can i do to fix it?? anyone

He should be fine with the walbro 190 on a stock fpr, just logg it to see if you're getting over-run. And im glad to hear it was just plugs and wires. Try hacking your MAS a little bit and tune for the air changes. Or go with a gm-maft setup and some 650's!

Good luck!
