i've noticed i'm getting compressure surge...when i let off on the gas i can hear the bov.
so should it be on soft or hard? and do i need some sort of tool to adjust it? i've never messed with it since i put it on...
thanks

if i'm not mistaken you should be able to hear the BOV when you take your foot off the gas or when you shift

but isnt that a bad thing, compressure surge(bov leaking)? or is that normal on the type s? and i know u hear the bov when shifting but i'm talkin about when i just let off the gas

the screw in the the top is to set the BOV at idle it should not be open if it is you need to turn in the screw until it stops leaking, and for the line going to the bottom of the bov you should restrict the boost you put to the bottom to less than the manifold pressure, use air compressor restictor valve to regulate so BOV does not leak under boost, because your suplying more pressure to the top side of the diaphram to hold it closed, and this way it will be a "fast of normal" acting BOV not "slow"
