price for new slave cylinder

Anyone know how much to expect to pay for a new slave cylinder ( 1997 gsx )? How much is a rebuild kit and is it worth it? Thanks.

Check around at some of the DSM shops, I believe I paid $65 for mine from dsmparts.com, but I have a 1g, not sure if a 2g is the same. I honestly couldn't say anything about a rebuild, I have never done one.

well I'm gonna hit up the dealership tomorrow and hope they have one in stock. I just wanted to get an idea what kind of price to expect because I've never bought one before. Thanks.

I think I mine was $40ish from NAPA. I called every auto store in my town and nobody had one, and for some reason NAPA had 2 of them. Got lucky that day I guess.

Yeah, mine was from a local parts store and I paid like $42 about a year ago.

I got mine from nopionline.com for $23 plus $10 shipping, TOKICO brand. See if you can buy more stuff from them so with combined shipping it'd be cheaper. I got both the master and slave cylinders and the shipping was just $11. I have installed the master not the slave yet and it works fine for me, so give it a try, good price.
