6 bolt or 7 bolt?

Ok this might be the wrong section to post this and if so im sorry. I hear all this talk that the 6 bolts that were in the 90 - early 92 model's are alot better then the 7 bolt's that came after that. Well my question is why? What and how would they be better.I just hear this often and im very curious to the details behind this statement. All imput is appreciated.

It's been imput for page after page. Various lightening and bearing dimension details were undertaken on the later 7-bolt engine, taking away some of its robustness. Just start reading and searching, because we're not doing another thread on it now.
