on the driver's side for the 1GA AWD's please. Are all you guys going UNDER the braces? If not, I can't see where the hell it goes. I got the racecar FMIC installed but need to do the piping so I took it to a shop. They put it on a lift and he was like do you want to go under or over the supports and I can't see how do you go over them. There's a huge brace blocking that. Anyone got clear pictures of the endtanks exiting on the sides and the routing, clear pics pls? Thanks!

the first picture is mine, its hard to see i know, but the 2nd picture is another car but its ran just like mine. Basically you run it through the little hole next to your oil filter housing/alternator.. look down there and youll see what i mean.. its a tite fit but dooable.

and I swear I looked all over for a hole of any type size etc to go through, there was nothing....I looked for the "hole" but there's just a big black plate. Are those pipes just 180 degree bends and that's it? they go over all the braces and rest on them?

I tried asking this same question in the Hangout, but no helpful responses. So I figured it out on my own. Heres I think the best place to do it if you dont plan to cut anything. The red mark is where I plan to bend a bit back, but I dont think its neccissary. I just stuck a pipe there so you can see basically where it goes, as I haven't completed my piping/turbo install.

Hope this helps you in figuring out where you decide to route it. I'll be uploading a writeup on my custom fmic. Apparently the question has been brought up before without very detailed responses.

Ya thats where mine run, but i did no cutting of the body at all.

The exhaust shop wanted to route the pipes under the braces b/c they couldn't find a spot....I'll have to get it back up and take tons of pics to document this. Much appreciated! I will have my stock oil cooler in the same place, my johnnyracecar fmic fits over it fine. I had to cut the power steering cooler line and look it alot shorter. I had already opened up the sides of the radiator for short route piping so I put the powersteering cooler bracket line down there and it's still cool to the touch. I'll take lots of pics and I much appreciate these!!!

Royalty, I studied your Tech Guide. It help me determine how to route it. It was just a little hard to tell on some angles of your pictures. Good write up.

do you have the oil cooler in stock location

For now yes. I was planning on cutting the side wall for the pipe, but now that its staying, I plan on moving it just to be safe.

I "searched" and manually searched intercoolers/turbos tech guide, nothing by Royalty...or any 1ga write-ups....
