I am rebuilding my engine and am going to put forged pistons in. If i go 9:1, do you guys thinks i should upgrade my radiator and hoses?

Changing the compression of your piston isn't going to affect the pressure in your cooling system, so you won't need 'upgraded hoses' or a new radiator. If you are running really high boost with a big FMIC, a better radiator and fans might be in order but other than that you will be fine with stock radiator and hoses...unless of course your hoses are shot anyways.

BTW I run 9:1 Weiscos and have the stock cooling system.

How do you like those 9:1 pistons, Matt? I am thinking of using them for a bit better throttle response. Any issues with octane or gas quality? Stan

Well my motor only has about 175 miles on it as of now, but throttle response is great. I just got done swapping motors, so I've got a whole bunch of goodies that might help that, but I'm happy with them. I've got no piston slap and everything sounds good. I fill up with 93 octane and have only run 9psi on the evo till I break in the motor, but have no problems tuning it at all. People that run higher boost might have more to say, but I wont' know till I break in the motor more.
