Ive heard alot of talk about ross and other name brand pistons for the 4g63. I was wondering why i havent seen a thread or anyone mention Venolia race pistons from extreme motorsports.
Whats the deal with that? are they any good? not worth the price? they have both a street piston and race.
i belive sean glazer uses the venolia race piston in his car

Some info on this would be appreciated

heres the link to them

Im sure he uses them in his car because he gets them for free. I would to.
All of us on here are using wiescos or ross just because they are a proven piston with little or no problems. When paying big money for a set of pistons, machine work and all I would rather go with a proven product that alot of people use in your aplication (street or race) than trying to be diffrent and finding out there is a reason why no one runs them. I am not bashing extream in anyway or there pistons but you hear very little about venolia pistons in our engines is all.

Actually the place extreme uses is Jackson Auto Machine. They built Extreme motor a couple years ago when he was going 9's. I think they have since changed engine builders.

The pistons are of excellent quality but I'm an Ohio guy. Wisecos all the way. Don't see what you want. They will custom make a set.
