Has anyone used the aftermarket direct-bolt in O2 sensors, And is there any sideaffects from using these sensor? I lost my good contact at the dealer and I need A o2 sensor.

Have you had any prolbems with the one you got from the website, and does it have the factory connection on it?

Everything I've heard points to the aftermarket ones only lasting half as long as OEM. Also, note that generic O2 kits (not direct fit) probably won't have long enough wiring.

Thanks for everyone help. I also whated to know if the O2 sensor was the same for 90 as 91-94? Some peolpe list it as different and other list as the same? Please share any insight.

I just picked up an 02 sensor from oxygensensors.com I got the walker one, the guys there said it is a denso unit with walker wiring. Won't get to it till this weekend. Fast shipping 3 days from cali to Illinois.

Considering the OEM O2 sensor is made by Denso, I don't think you'll have any problems with an aftermarket Denso.

The aftermarket denso has a better element then the OEM denso. I believe it is much more resistent to running leaded gas and running rich.

I run a Denso aftermarket as well...no problems. You can save $25-30 if you just get a sensor with out the OEM socket/direct replacement and hard wire it yourself. Just cut the connector off your old sensor and solder in the new one :thumb:
