i was lookin at downpipes and i had to pick between long and short. i think its supposed to be long block or short block but what is that and how do you know what you have? which is better?

The differences for the long and short downpipes are not for long or short blocks, the long downpipe simply eliminates the option of a cat/test pipe and bolts directly to a cat-back system, where the short downpipe allows the use of a test pipe or cat. Hope that is explains it for ya.

There are only 2 kinds of downpipes. The regular downpipe and 02 Eliminators. I suggest you get the O2 eliminator.

I think you got confused on the shortblock and longblock. They refer to the engine. The shortblock is the bottom end with the pistons and such. The longblock is the shortblock and head combined.

perfect explanations by both of you thanks

why do you suggest i get the o2 eliminator
