this is what? the 2352359235x thread about these kits this month?

its absolute garbage and YES please read that thread, it'll open your eyes. XS power = :thumbdown

as for FMIC options go with vendors, JRC, JR, OBX blah blah intercoolers. do a search on "FMIC" and you'll have hours and hours worth of threads to read before you make a decision

p.s. I dont know what kind of car you have but on a 1g a mid 200 whp street care is EASILY attainable. just lookup our tech guide.. all you need is stage 1.on a 2g it can be accomplished also VERY easily. both in which you probably wont need a bigger FMIC for

thanks for the info guys, and sry for bring up old news

The thing about SS Autochrome and XS Power and other sister companies like them is it's kind of a 50/50 thing. There's an RX-7 in town that runs damn good and he runs an SS Autochrome turbo and manifold. However on another forum, I saw an SS Autochrome turbo that split right down the center of the compressor housing after a little bit of use. Like I said man it's fifty fifty. I myself have an SS Autochrome stainless downpipe on my Twin Turbo Stealth and the only complaint that I had at first was that it had no flexpipe. No big deal, I just bought a stainless 3" flex and had it welded in. I've read that article on honda-tech (above) and I've seen some of the nightmares people have had. However, back on the DSM table there's a 2nd Gen Talon w/ six bolt swap that runs the same turbo kit and from what I know it ran really well till the guy figured he'd be too cool to run a thermostat and the thing blew up and cracked the head. Sorry about the long post but don't be too quick to deal out judgement, but don't be too gullable either. Your call man 50/50.

I don't want to get into another discussion about "my buddies' cousin has a ssautochrome manifold and it suck der her her..." but I agree with blcknspo0ln about the fact that you can easily reached mid 200hp for little money. All you need is a 255 fuel pump, intake w/k&n filter, boost gauge and mbc, exhaust, and free mods.

The kit is a good deal, I actually have that kit. I make about 410whp but I have many supporting mods that cost more than 3 times the cost of the kit. The kit is not entirely bot on. I had to have the wastegate pipe detached and rewelded at an angle to accomidate the alternator. You also need injectors, datalogger/fuel control, full exhaust etc.

If you are ready for all of that then get the kit.
