wasup guys, I would like to know is there a formula that allows you to convert from hertz to lb/min. I just received my dsmchip with MAFx2 and I would like to know how many lb/min im flowing.

Do you know method used to do this? Do you need any other readings besides what a pocketlogger provides?

You need to use mmcd, I'm using extended fuel and timming maps so I log a different address than what you need to for a stock ecu. I can't remember what the address is for the stock ecu or what you have to do to convert it to a usable value. On mine I log address 54 and divide by 64 to get grams per revolution. If you also know the rpm you can convert this to lb/min.

the thing with HZ is that it will be different the min you do something to the maf. If you help it flow even a little bit more thru the bottom part it will throw the count off as it is a calibrated unit.

Yes you will still read HZ readings and yes your car will run fine if tuned properly, but you can't go with flow numbers off the HZ readings.

And put a 2g maf in a 1g and your calcs are right out. yes you might still pull 1400hz but its alot more air thru a 2m maf than a 1g.

DSMLink will do this for you tho.
