Im about to rebuild the engine in my 91 eclipse gsx and i can't decide to go with the stroker kit from slowboyracing, or just using eagle rods and 2g pistons? and i was also wondering what kind of extra horsepower the stroker kit would give me thanks zach. :dsm:

zach... honestly i'd go w/ the 2g pistons and rods over the stroker. the stroker will give you additional hp but unless your realisitcally planning on going insane w/ the hp, the money you'd save could be applied to the car w/ the 2g and new rods and would give you much more hp then the stroker kit would.

eagle rods and 2g pistons. why would you use that combo? If your going to be upgrading rods, go with a forged piston no doubt.... Youd gain torque from a 2.3L btw.
