Apex upper IC pipe and Greddy XL Intercooler

My friend has a apexi upper IC pipe, and just had a greddy XL intercooler installed on his 95 TSi, and the top intercooler piping is slanting down and runs across the top of the IC and it's visible. I was told that since I didn't use the greddy upper ic pipe that this would happend. Is this true? Is there any way this could of been fixed without changing piping?

Can you explain exactly what you did? I should add that he has the blitz front bumper body kit.

I've also had the GReddy big FMIC w/ a Blitz front bumper....

Ill try to take pictures ASAP. the bumper had to be cut so to move the piping would probably make it look worse anyways since there would be a big cut in the bumper.
