a 2G turbo Talon TSi AWD, GSX w/e, stock is what im lookin for, or as close as possible. and does anyone have a dyno pic/graph??

i take it you're new here.

one of the rules is - do not bump your own threads. mods will lock your threads in a heartbeat, just a precaution.

check dsmtimes.org for the answer to your question.

p.s., search before you ask an easily accessible answer :)

For a stock 2g you can even go to the back of your owner's manual or type a search into google, for hp/trq, est. 1/4 times. Hell I would think you'd already know that before you got in your car.

Oops, didn't see your profile, but it will be for sure faster than your tarus. That and driving a dsm, you'll know what around 190hp stock feels like so you can get an idea of 300 would be like :thumb:

yea i know, the whole taurus thing sucks big time, my parents made me buy it but im gettin a talon as soon as i can. yea i am new, sorry for askin a dumb question OMG

i trusted my stock T-25 for reliability and it crapped all over me a few weeks ago. sure it was fun at first until i started to loose power. noticed a rattleing thought it was a exhaust leak. smoke and oil was soon exiting my exhaust. then i removed it and noticed it was my comp. wheel plopping around. i then replaced it with a 14b, that was the best upgrade i have done yet. T-25 lasted me 8 months, i got the car stock after modding it crapped out.

danielbui, that's exactly what's happening to me except I've only had my DSM for about 2 weeks. The T-2small already crapped out on me. I have blowby on the compressor side and some oil caked around my lower i/c pipe so it looks like a bad seal. I'm also doing the swap to a 14b within 2 weeks. I'm glad to hear it worked out well for you too and hopefully I'll be happy with mine! :thumb:

yeah for me personally i don't like to mix T-25 and performance together in the same sentence. it might work for others well but for me i'll pass.

Dude on a stock awd it has 160 whp. remember ur pushing power to all 4 wheels instead of those fwd dudes :talon:

I did about 5 runs in a row all of them were a 14.4x @ around 97-98MPH with a 2.38-2.4x 60ft. My best time was a 14.41 @ 97.8mph with a 2.44 60 ft. with only a boost controller on my 97 GS-T Spyder. This includes worse than stock compound tires - sized 205/55/16 (from the previous owner) which explains the crappy 60ft. Alot of my DSM buddys thought my car was somewhat of a factory freak...

I agree - they are definetly not accurate at all. Especally in the MPH readings. I had mine calibrated perfectly and I used it at the track. I ran a 12.8 @ 114 and the G-tech said I did a 12.6 @ 119 which was totally off. I had weighed my car that day at the track also. Take it to the track, get a real time slip.
