how to change oil squirters?

anyone here who knows how or has changed the oil squirters, can ya give me some info on how to do it?

Well the oil pan has to come down thats it. I forget the size socket I used. Its real simple. just one bolt holds them to the block.

so do i just like break off the tip haha or how does it work, i guess it would be more clear once im in there and trying to fix it eh

2g squirters are a little different than 1g. From how I remember the 2gs you will need to pull the pistons and pull them out / tap the new ones in from the top.

ok well is it possible to do it while the motor is in the car, and ill be damned if im taking my pistons out

i have a 6 bolt not a 7 bolt

Yeah you can do it from the bottom w/o the pan its just like unscrewing a bolt. I advice to clean the new squirters to ensure of a steady flow.

sorry didn't realize you did a swap. On a 6 bolt just drop the pan and stick a socket in there and loosen the bolt. Be sure to clean the squirters out. I've heard of letting them soak in trans fluid overnight to get all the little deposits out. Good luck.
