1g CAS flip?

There is a dot on the body, and a notch on the part that the cam turns. Line them up. It may not be exact when it lines up with the cam, but it obviously isnt 180 degrees off either.

the correct way i heard was is to bring the no.1 cylinder to top dead center then check the cas and line up the notch.

Correct, you FIRST have to bring cyl. 1 to TDC then align the CAS & insert. If you do not bring it to TDC, the CAS may not even go into the slot. Anyway, if for some reason you insert it in the wrong way, just take it off and switch it 180*. There are only 2 ways it goes in. :thumb:

Oops. I had just assumed that was common knowledge. My fault for taking that for granted. Cylinder 1 has to be at TDC on the compression/power side. If the cam gear alignment dowel pins are at 12 oclock, you're there.
