BOV dump tube cut mod is this good???

i just saw this mod in the vfaq is this good and how much perfomance you get??

I couldnt tell a differance... well, I take that back... you know how you can barely hear your bov? cut that tube out and the bov will get even quieter... I wouldnt waste my time if I were you... just my 2 cents....
