I got the SBR street core kit. I cut out the two places in the frame for the two pipes to go in and got it set in there to test the fit. A couple things I'm having problems with are the wiring harness that goes around and below the radiator on both sides, and the a/c lines. I took the power steering loop lines off, I plan to relocate it someplace else.

This first picture shows the output pipe from the FMIC; I had to cut the ties on the wiring harness and move it to the other side of the pipe to get it to fit in here. The small AC line on this side is a pain in the ass too. What are my options with the harness on this side? I'm worried that it will interfere with the radiator and/or fan fitting back in the car unless I move it somewhere else.

The second picture shows the intake side; this pipe barely fits through at all; the stupid a/c line is in the way too, there is no way the radiator will fit back in there with it there; am I supposed to reroute this line? Also the harness on this side is also a pain in the ass, the FMIC pipe barely clears it at all, and it's a tight fit ...

suggestions from the experts appreciated! :thumb:

take 10mins and push things around. amazing how many people give up after a few mins. Just play with shit and push on shit real hard. itll fit.

Already did a lot of pushing on stuff but didn't want to start breaking things ..

On the driver's side I flattened two plates that protrude to the side from the radiator core where they interfered with AC. Harness was all right after I pushed on it with a pry bar a bit. On the passenger side everything was ok after a little pushing.

I am going to have to cut the a/c line and use fuel hose to reroute it around the FMIC pipe but if I do this, it will fit. Barely, but it fits. :thumb:

OMG Do you realize how much pressure is in that line? if you want to cut and lengthen it, I'd suggest having a longer tube welded on. Or just lose the AC, it's only slowing ya down anyway!

I've decided to remove the A/C completely. Since it's not my daily driver it won't be a big deal. It'll save a little weight, too.
