Got my new Hallman Evolution MBC installed yesterday. For those that don't know, it is a cockpit adjustable MBC, by way of a patent pending cable-like device. Comes with all hardware necessary, inlcuding a clamp to attach the MBC to the radiator support. Install took maybe 45 minutes as I took my time. I used the steering boot as the entry point for the cable and mounted it under the dashboard, close to the center consol, using the 2 self tapping screws they supplied. Ran the cable along the power steering line and then along the radiator, mounting it on the last mount hole on the passenger side of the radiator. Hooked up the hoses and I was off. Get on the highway and do some pulls. Steady boost but now it is so easy to adjust. Took me a couple pulls and I was all set. No more pulling off to the side of the road every time to adjust the boost. I highly recommend this controller as at $150, it is a steal. I'll try to get some pictures taken this weekend.

I have the hallman right now, any idea how much that evolution upgrade is? It mentions it on the site but has no prices.

Update: I found it on boostcontroller.com for 80.00. If anyone plans on buying this I would suggest getting the Basic controller for 45 then the 80 upgrade. Should be a lil cheaper at 125.

nice, got pics:thumb:

I saw these at the DSM shoot out & they looked pretty nice. I actually thought about doing this a while back.. but never got around to it. Kinda pricey for a MBC w/ a bicycle shifting cable attached.. but that's just my opinion. Also considering I purchased my HKS EVC EZ for $150... which is absolutely awesome by the way. After going w/ the electronic.. I don't know if I'd ever go back to an MBC.

I took pics. I just have to upload them.

And yes, if I could get an EBC for $150, I'd do that, although space is a commodity in my car and I have no idea where it would go. However, I didn't pay $150 for this MBC... it was free. Can't argue with that.

I just went to the local NAPA and got some vac hose for 5 bucks,, ran those lines inside the car and installed my hallman inside there. I noticed no lag in spool up,, no spike,, it is just a as acc. as before,, plus it makes a cool hissing noise.

If you don't wanna make any holes in you interior, just run the lines through the center console and wedge the controler between the seat and center console.

I hate to resurect threads and hate seeing them as much as the next guy. But I would really like to see some pics of this thing installed. I have the old school hallman. Still works great, just wanna little in house adjustablility.

fire up some pics bro. :thumb:
