I know it says 18 ft lbs and then 90 degrees, but that is only a rough estimate. Does anyone know about where that should be in terms of ft lbs? Around 50? 60?

That spec is for 7 bolt blocks. They use torque to yeild bolts which stretch, and really shouldnt be reused.

However, as a reference the spec for 6 bolt blocks is 47-51.

That spec is for 7 bolts? In the haynes manual it didnt specify. So what is the correct way to do a 6 bolt motor?

you need to use the torque angle meter. After you applied the correct torque, then you will have to use the torque angle meter, and turn an additional 90 degree. But if you were to use ARP main bolts, the 90 degree doesnt apply because they dont stretch.
