i'm tired of the hair drier...

i just got my paycheque.. and it's time to start competing against my friends HKS GT2530 powered SR20 silvia...

i'm dead set on getting a t3/t04B from Bullseye-power.. and not goin the 16G route...

but i can only buy 1 thing at a time each month... I live overseas so payin 200bux shipping each time takes it's toll on the wallet

what i wanna know is if it's ok:

get my turbo kit in the mail

yank off the manifold, port it out, slam the turbo on, re-wire the fuel pump
and drive with Sub 10 psi boost?

i realize the SMIC will soak pretty quick.. but it's Winter so the low ambient temps should help me out, and i'll drench the SMIC in cold water before a race anyway...

the following month will probably be ECU+ w/fuel pump AFPR

then FMIC before weather starts warming up (anyone know a good IC that can push ~ 900CFM)

any input is welcome..

Won't need the ECU, you'll need injectors before then.

If you do get an ECU make SURE you get a 1995 EPROM ECU.

Also, with that turbo you will need an external wastegate. 10psi is very effecient with those turbos and stock fuel system should handle it well, but you will need the injectors before an ECU, stock fuel pump and regulator on 2G's can hold just about 12-14psi (15 on 1G's)

Other than that, you should be fine.

sorry man i think u misunderstood about ECU

i put "ECU+" which is an alternative to DSMlink.. but along the same lines, but doesn't require the 95 Eeprom ECU u refer to..

my DSM is euro spec so i dunno if my 96 possibly has an Eeprom ecu i haven't had time to tear apart the car to see..

10psi? that's great news... i was told this turbo pushes 720CFM at 1bar... which is like triple my stock turbo... so my stock system can hold approx. 500CFM??

thanks for the help :thumb:

Exactly.

As for the ECU, you would have to check the DSMlink site about the EPROM ECU. All I know is that here in the states DSMlink will ONLY work in 2G's with the '95 ECU because it came with an EPROM. That's all I really know about that - good luck.
