Does your EVO III turbo creep worse then mine?

I can hold 10psi for a while then it starts to shoot up to 20 psi... I think right around 5500 it's about 15 psi.

I did a 2ng gear pull... it shot up to 20 psi somewhere near redline (6500 rpms I think?) and my knock sensor went off (not good).

I gotta get my 680 PTE injectors install pronto!

What runs out first? Fuel from the pump or do the injectors get maxed out (I have a 190fp that needs to be install too)? Thanks.

I have a full intake system, 1G BOV, rsr downpipe, rsr catback, slow boy racing ported my 02 housing and cut the divider out a bit, I mildly ported the the step out of the evoIII turbo and 2G mannyfold.

Anyway I can tune my car with dsmlink to get ride of some of this boost creep? I could removing timing?

Where are you located?

If it is cold where you are that could be causing a little more boost creep than is normal. My EVO III did not creep at all this summer but when temps got below 40* I started creeping.

I have a fully ported turbo and mani, 34mm flapper, and a tubular O2 housing that dumps to atmosphere.

Running the same EvoIII turbo @ 18 PSI daily and no boost creep at all. Got the EVOIII Manifold and O2 housing , everything is ported.

You could always get a BullseyePower.com turbine housing and a 38mm internal flapper.

I have ZERO boost creep running 10PSI on my ported EVO 16G. I'm runnin a 2.5" catback, hi flow cat, ported EVO O2 housing, and ported EVO exhaust manny. Didn't have to touch the wastegate area or do the flapper mod either...

Your also in Texas. I agree, where are you located? I never boost creep unless its below 40, in which case my car goes into storage anyways.

I run my ported 16g at stock boost with a 3" RNR 02 elim. exhaust and it only creeps 1-2 psi.Oh and it has 34mm flapper

How is your MBC connected? If it's not connected to a source right at the manifold, it'll likely creep pretty bad, mine did.

You need those injectors and pump NOW. Creeping to 20psi on that turbo with an all stock system is just asking for holy pistons. To answer your question, the pump will likely crap out before you max out 450s, especially an old one.

Don't floor your throttle until you install those injectors. In fact, I'd just putt around until you get them. Little to no boost. Keep it under 10psi.

The stock BOV might keep the boost lower from leaking above 12 psi, but it would over work your turbo if its still trying to boost higher. You could get a fuel pump done in about an hour, its not all that hard. Lastly, check your oil level it might be low.

It's a line running from the licp to the wastegate, no boost controller

after reading that, and without starting yet another thread about the evo16g, hope someone could answer my question

my mods are k&n filter, dejon intake pipe, 2.5 ic piping, spearco fmic, evo3 exhaust manifold and rnr 2.5" o2 eliminator dp, hi flow cat, and 2.5" cat back. currently have no fuel mods until spring or so. also have boost controller and gauge. SHOULD i be alright with the evo3 16g and not getting much creep, or will it still be a problem even with the o2 eliminator pipe?
also does the regular big16g have this problem as well or is it just the evo16g? thanks and sorry to add my question to this thread.

I'm pretty sure it's gonna creep, but ur exhaust seems a little more restrictive then mine, so maybe the turbine will be held back from spinning out of control due to more back pressure...that's not really good either though...I'd hold off until u got more fuel..I have my pump and injectors sitting in the gargare just to cold to install them

Here's my two cents.

I don't get creep with my setup. I have ported (inlet and outlet) evo 3 16 g with the 34 mm flap mod, 2 g manifold (ported) and 2g o2 housing. At -25 degrees celcius no creep.
