I recently got a n/t block that I was planning on using for doing a turbo engine rebuild. I tore it all apart down to the bare block and when I went to check for a knock sensor location, I couldn't find one. What exactly am I looking for? Are all the holes on the back of the block all look the same or am I gonna notice a difference where the knock sensor should be? I've read posts where some people say only "some" n/t blocks came with the knock sensor hole and other posts were all 2.0 n/t blocks have some sort of fitting for it. Any help would be appreciated.

First of all use the SEARCH button, I've answered this about 3 times in the last 2 days.

Look near the #3 cylinder on the back of the block, there will be a hole for it.

First of all, already used the search button and found your posts. I already looked there and I see nothing. Am I looking for a bigger hole, etc.?? I use search for everything before I post and if I dont find what Im looking for, then I post.

ive never actually looked at a non turbo block, but I could imagine there would be a plug for it, i cant imagine mitsubishi using 2 different 6 or 7 bolt blocks for same year dsm's. I betcha there is a plug in there that can be removed by an allen wrench.

check between the number 2 and number 3 intake manifold ports.... right below that is where u should find it.....all the holes look the same....but its right below 2 n 3....n who cares if u already posted...answer the guys question....esp how easy it is... :thumb: ..... :dsm:

That's what I like to hear :thumb: . Ok, I'm gonna check right beneath the manifold ports today. I too, can't see mitsubishi using 2 different 6 bolt blocks.
