ok here is my question does this vacume line have to be attached into a vacume sorce. on stock turbo it went from the boost sylnoid under coolent over flow into that line and from the boost cylnoid into the intake does this one have to be cut and put on that way.

I would use it for my boost controller instead of using the manifold line because it's a direct source.

ok but if i dont have a boost control bolted up right now would that cause my wast gate to blow open prematurely cuase its not being regulated.

That would be a huge boost leak if you didn't have it hooked up to something or blocked off. LOL.

although the compressor housing is one of the best sources, the intake manifold has actual boost that enters the engine, making it a little better that the housing. That and not taking into account the pressure drops from the compressor housing to the intake manifold, causing an incorrect reading. Measure boost at the housing and get 15psi when you are really only running 13psi +/- 1psi.

ok i ant asking that tho i am asking if that line needs to be hooked up to where the stock turbo was

You have to have the wastegate hooked up to a pressure source otherwise it will never open and you will blow your motor on the first WOT run. Either T it straight into the BOV line, run a boost controller, or tap some other source.
