Okay all, tried searching, got some answers, but nothing too concrete...
my FWD 1st gen- want 115ish traps- but will be 95% pump gas only - it's my daily driver. I won't be at the track often, I won't be running slicks and stiff suspension- I just want top end from hell
So if I was only on pump, wanting to make sure I can stay head to head with say, a Z06 then what would my best choice for turbo be?
Big or EVO 16G with a 7cm2 Bullseye housing
OR
20G probably TD05 back end
I'll have the fuel and airflow taken care of, 3" Downpipe and catback, 2nd gen ported manifold, wastegate dump (likely but not 100% if not then at least tubular at 2.5"), FMIC, poly roll mounts, equal length halfshafts... possibly LSD if I must
anyway- the 20G has a greater top end I know- looking at the fastest DSM times, I can tell that the 20G is easier into the 120+ range- but that doesn't 100% mean it's better at PUMP GAS to 115MPH.
So... again I ask-
Bullseye B16G
or
20G TD05
