I just got a brand new Schwitzer T04B 61 trim turbo and a cast manifold and I have a few questions:

1) Will my car run properly with just the safc or am I going to have to dsmlink v2 or some other engine management in order for it to operate properly?

2) What wastegate shoudl I go with and what spring pressure?

I am used to having internally gated turbos and don't know much abotu this new world of externally gated beasts.

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP! :p

You list no other mods, and if your asking if just a s-afc will work im assuming you have no injectors or fuel pump. In which case, your not ready for a turbo upgrade IMO.

I guess that was kind of a stupid post assuming you knew my mods...

Also using a 50 shot of nitrous to spool the turbo a little bit quicker.

NOTE: I am running 95 octane pump gas.

About how much bigger do you think? I was thinking 880's or would 770's work?

im not sure id wanna spray a 50shot on top of high boost on pump gas, but. Your obviously already controlling your injectors with the s-afc so... Personally if your funds can afford it, get dsmlink no doubt.

If you're willing to get DSMlink then get 880s. You can in theory control 720s with an S-AFC, but your timing will be very high so I don't reccomend it. Some people also have trouble getting a good idle. And like Anconover said I wouldn't spray unless you are running race gas or lower boost. Start at like 15 psi and work your way up.
