My t-25 finally fried after about a year of running at 15 psi. I'm now looking for a new turbo, and think I'm starting to understand some of the info. Right now I have the option to buy a turbo with a .50 A/R .63 Hot and 57 trim. From what I under stand the t-25 ran at .42 A/R .48 hot. My question is how much of a gain is the new turbo over the t-25? Also I plan to continue to run at about 15 psi, but would like the option for the future to hit 20 psi. Will the new turbo be able to handle both settings?

The new turbo is a garrett hybrid? 57 rims are not the most popular. The .50 a/r on the cold side seems small. I am not the most knowledgeable so i will watch the replies myself. It sounds like a not commonly used piece but it would be way larger than what you had. mark

they claim it is a garret T3/T4. I'm just looking for a turbo that can hit 20 psi. Can anyone point me in a certian direction, or tell me the A/R I need to see with the number of trim.

I think you may be talking about those ebay t3/t4 turbos from ssautochrome or stone mountain performance. I would stay away from those they use an O-trim turbine, which is not a very efficient turbine. As well as if you are looking for it to bolt up to a mitsubishi inlet and outlet, there is not a turbine housing available for that exhaust side. I would talk to dave at bullseyepower.com They have a good deal on a t04b v trim with an internal wastegate, which sounds like what you might be looking for.
