Okay, I just did the 1g TB swap on my car. I got a CEL today though and it was the PO400 which is the exhaust gas recirculation flow error. After reading the faq at http://www.roadraceengineering.com/2gtbswap.htm, it says to cap the a2(the angled port) and E port. This leaves ports a1 and P. Then it says to "T" off the P hose and route that to the P and E but that doesnt make sense to me cause they said to just cap off the E port.

On my old 2g TB, I only had 2 ports .. A & E. P was marked, but there was no port coming off it.

So to complicate matters more, today i was driving my car and it just died so i quickly started it right back up. Didnt get a CEL this time though. WTF ..could that CEL I got earlier cause this to happen?

I'm stumped and advice would be appreciated with those that have done this.

Thanks again,

I'm thinking the car could have died because my rpms went to around 600 or smth because i was in neutral and coasting to a stop when this occurred. Anyhow, anyone help me out on the hoses? I am confused because I wasn't even using the P line before since I didnt even have a P port on the TB, it was simply marked with a hole. Anyhow, thanks again,

strange, mine had three straight ports (A, E, P) pointing towards the driver's side.

anyway, you cap off A1 and E at the throttle body, and then use P to drive both E and P (using a T). A stays the same.

i guess you could try using E to drive E and P

Thats because you didn't adjust the TPS the correct way. I just played with it and then adjusted the BISS for fine tuning. RRE's site has instructions on how to do it with a volt meter and such, but I just played it by ear and got it to work okay. Sometimes it goes abit lower than I would like, so I may adjust it back up some.

I am just hoping when my car died on me wasn't the first signs of cough Cwalk. I was turning or anything, nor was my foot on the clutch, I was just decelling, so I am hoping it was because the rpm's just stalled out. I am going to check the crank for play to be safe though.
