I'm not sure what your question is but yes that is the tap you. I have two of them. If you want to drive to Louisiana I'll give you one. Really though there has got to be some place that sells that tap. If not I'll mail you one if you really can't find one. Check all parts and hardware stores. It took me a few stores but I found one. I'm not sure if ya'll have a Dimmicks auto part store but that's where I got mine.

I'm positive that's what I used on my autometer ultralight. If your scared it might be the wrong one just test it out on a peice of scrap metal or something. That way it'll be a 5$(price of tap) mistake and not a 300$ one;)

didnt get to go to the nut and bolt store today. skipped science but this girl that also skipped her 4th block class needed a ride so....:thumb:

but anyhoo how do you get the heat shield off if you drill a hole in it? you have to angle it foward then like up and it just doesnt look like it would come off if the probe is in there. i am planning to drill the hole in the raised part where the screw that holds the heat shield on goes.

make the hole in the heat shield larger than the diameter of the probe.... what you do is mark and drill the hole on heat shield, thread the probe through it, and then install the probe onto the manifold. then put your heat shield back on..
