car wont start

i put an eprom ecu in my car and went to crank it over.....nothing. everything works all my lights on come like normal. my afc doent come on or anyting. my check engine light doesnt come on. i put the stock ecu in and it does the same thing. so its not the ecu. it wont crank or nothin. i havent blown any fueses tha i can tell unde the hood all those lool fine i lost my cover for my underdash fuses are they any there that i should check for?

any ideas...

umm did the car start before you swapped ECUs?

dude my car is doing the identical thing, i just swapped ECU's too...i just made a post on it too

Wiggle the battery terminals around.

battery terminals are cleaned and tight and yes it worked fine before i swapped ecus....swapping back to the orginal ecu has done nothing...same results

If the ECU is not coming on then check the fuse under the hood its one of those big weird square ones. I had mine blowing those when I had the fan grounded our wrong everything works BUT the afc didn't come on and the ecu would not click. If the AFC doesn't come on the ECU has no power check that fuse.

which fuse is it? all the underhood fuses are fine

ummm my car isn't here to chech for you its a blue fuse I believe its one of the ones with the clear top on it in the row closest to the fire wall. I will try and remember to take a pic for you tonight.

Its one of the ones in the oval but I'm pretty sure its the circled one I foud that pic on the net not of my car.

do u have fuel pressure, is the fuel pump working? check that

Fuel has nothing to do with it if his AFC isn't working his ECU isn't working if his ECU isn't working his car isn't starting.

checked that fuse its good. all the fuses check out. im stumped

I tested it today and the ecu and afc are definalty not getting any power. we checked all the fuses that we could find they are fine. Also, the front wipers and the rear defroster are not working either. (fuses are fine though)

found the problem...we removed the radio and found a loose connector we plugged it in and magically we had ecu power, rear defroster and wipers...

Pay U R self 20 bucks! You know I should have suggested that I had the same prob tail lights after my 6bolt swap something was funky behind the radio.
