Alright, so I decided to make my own Manual Boost Control. The body came together very easily, and the parts were'nt very hard to find. Except for the spring and the bearing. The bearing, I'm sure won't be a problem. I haven't really looked that hard yet. But the spring is killing me. Has anyone made there own, and does anyone know where I can find the spring? Home Depot is huge so if you say Home Depot, please try to be specific on which department. Thanks for the help!

Try a smaller mom & pop hardware store.

The spring is usually the harder part to find, well at least finding one that works properly. As for the ball bearing.....Just go to your local bicycle shop. All kinds of different sizes to choose from. Just find one that will seal against the hole inside your fitting.

make sure you seal that bearing well. Take a hammer and wooden dowel (or I used a punch) and seat the bearing in the brass( I'm assuming that is what u used for the body)

Thanks again. It really helps seeing how the talon I am working on is to be my daily driver within the week, so as of right now, I am bumming rides to the store and it really sucks when I get to there and can't find what I am looking for. It is appreciated

I once used a spring from an ink pen. It worked great, just had to have the bolt compressing it alot. I found a good spring at ACE, but now the store is called Do It Best.

Haha, funny you say that. The spring I am using right now is from an ink pen. Seems to work alright but it is weak and not as adjustable as it should be. It will work untill I can find the right one though. Thanks!
