detailed my oil passages. pics inside

i detailed the oil passages on my block today. ive heard this helps with the oilpressure and ive heard of it being doen before. i rounded out the entrance to the one hole in the left most passage and it took abotu 45 min with a steady hane and a dremel. lemme knwo what you guys think

not nessasary in my opinion. That little you did will not help oil flow.

i read just fro rounding out that edge helps the oil pressure a great deal. i may round it out a little more to make it smoother. well see what happens

looks nice, just make sure you get all the metal shavings out.. And flip those balance shaft bearings around and get rid of the shafts!

I agree, clean that real well, I would guess that cleaning these areas up would allow the oil to flow a bit more freely and not give it an area where it could possibly leave sediment. Whether this will be apparant on the gauge or not is anyone's guess. You're covering all the bases, I personally would rather do something even as simple as that, while I have the chance rather than wish I did it later on. If it helps, it helps, otherwise it won't hurt anything.

yea blocks goin in for honing and hot tankin so i figurd its gonna get cleaned anyway. then itll get painted, make sure everythign is straight. then ill be ready to assemble. just need a few more parts.
