Ive got the translator and i just did a head swap, the car runs but only for 5-10 seconds then dies like somebody took the power away. When it dies the red light on the translator flashes 3 times. If somebody still has the instruction manual if you could tell me what that means it would be great help or any other suggestion, i used my 97-99 cas, tps and isc

Sure :)

1blink - In RPM mode, No RPM signal
2blinks - No MAF signal
3blinks - Internal Flash memory problem
4blinks - Dial or switch problem
5blinks - Internal program problem
6blinks - Problem with saved settings
7blinks - Unit detected a reset while the engine was running
8blinks - Internal Flash memory reset

are the blinks the same thing for both 2g and 1g units mine is a 2g, btw thanx for the response, this is getting to be very irritating and i need some help

The only diff between the 1g and 2g setups is the plug as far as the hardware is concerned

When you go to rev the car up, Does it sputter really bad? and keep stalling? That happen to me when I first got my translator/mafs on my car. Turns out the mafs was bad, The little capacitor things that go across the rails were messed up. Put a new one on and it was perfect.
