hey guys i just installed a jdm cyclone engine in my 90 eclipse and it works great but ihave a problem my rpm gauge, oil pressure gauge don't work. the connecters are completly different anyone has this problem or a solution. any response would be great :dsm: :talon: :laser:

Did you use the transistor form the JDM its different also use your oil pressure sensor from the original motor.

JDM and USDM coil packs and transistor units are completley different.

The usdm transistor pack has the Tachometer circuit built in, on the JDM its a seperate box, located on the coil pack braket itself.

you need to use the usdm coil pack and TR unit,

or like me, I rewired the jdm coils to match usdm setups and used the braket so it will fit.

if oyu use the usdm you need to fab the packs to fit. same as the TR unit, make srue the plate is grounded.

as for the oil guage? mine never worked, tried everything, every wire, swapped sensors, everything, i ended up buying an after markey oil press guage, easy fix. and looks good
