In shopping fuel pumps, I've seen the Walbro 190 (GSS278) listed as separate part numbers for the 1G fwd, and awd. Is there really a difference between the 1G fwd and awd? Also, most of the Walbro 190s listed are GSS278, but I've seen GSS250 listed also. Which one do I need, and can I use a Walbro 190 (with kit) that lists for fwd, or (off ebay) for both?

on vfaq.com there is a vfaq for the awd and fwd install of a walbro pump but the fwd drive link is broken. I can't imagine that the fuel pump itself is different. Its probably the "install kit"(which is basicly a zip tie and a few wires  ) that comes with it that is different. I say go ahead and get whats cheaper.
