I emailed turbochargers.com for more info on it, and here is their reply:

"the Big T28 Killer is a Garret Mitsu Hybrid which utilizes the Big 16G compressor wheel with the Big T28 turbine wheel and custom T3 garret compressor housing for better flow and cool temps
we know for a fact the Big 16G compressor wheel will flow 550 cfm's at 15PSI
we have had it installed on a 99 automatic and his response was it came on at 2200 rpms and full boost by 2700
and hold all the way to red line
we are going to get full dyno results soon and post on the website"

Here are pics of the turbo's wheels:

That wheels looks much better than the T28's wheel to me, but what I'm wondering is this: Is the Bigt28 wheels shown the same size as the AGP T28's wheel? This BigT28 Killer is the best direct bolt on for us 2g's? Its only $750 w T25 core. I'm pretty sure this is the turbo for me. Anyone running it?

*edit*
Pic isnt working so go here for the pics: http://www.turbochargers.com/currentspecials/t28.htm

Effeciency of the wheels and bearing can make up a lot. I wouldn't buy one, but that's just me.

Yeah, i was thinking more lag because of the bigger wheel, but Its just a big 16g wheel isnt it? And that has been proven to not be too laggy. I just want full boost by 3500 rpms.

I personally wouldn't ever buy anything from Turbochargers.com after what happened to me with one of their turbos, 98TSIAWD-I'll give you details later on that deal. And as for

it all depends on how much boost you're going to run. Heck, my Frank 4 will hit 20psi by 3800RPMS on a 2G.

Alright, I'll get the AGP T28 then, I'll take your word for it. I only plan to run 18psi on the street on 91 oct (best we can get here).

So did danny buy the blue RS, and you bought the white GSX? Thats what im assuming?

I am not going to get into any debate about this.... but..........

Heck, my Frank 4 will hit 20psi by 3800RPMS on a 2G.

??????? Is it just me, or does someone else make a frank 4?

Sorry, just thought this was funny. No harm meant at ALL!

Yes I'm still stuck w/ their turbo, which will be replaced by an AGP turbo or a Mutt hopefully by next summer.

You assumed both right! I'm keeping the white GSX and selling the Talon now. And I think Danny is just gonna sell the RS.

Oh and wherever you do buy your turbo from make SURE they will warranty it, even if it's for a couple months.

The bigt28 killer sounds good on paper. We all know the big16G can flow a lot of air at lower PSI levles and It's got a compressor housing that's much bigger then all the other T28s. It seems like it would be at least as good as a normal big16G. But I'm really curious as to what kind of dyno results they get.
