hey,
i blew my motor up and i have about 1500 to spend on getting it fixed. pieces of my t-25 got into cyl 3 and 4 and scored the walls making the rods knock pretty bad and making the car not run at all half the time. my mechanic says that my top end is almost perfect but the block needs to be replaced becuase there isnt any saving it. ive done some research, weighed out the options { 6 bolt conversion, 7 bolt stock motor, etc} but im wondering, i contacted gary at mitsu graveyard and said a 7 bolt block shipped would be like 200.00 bucks. from what i understand if im right if my top end is almost perfect but the block is done all i should need is a new block correct? any help you guys can give me would be really awesome, im havin trouble figuring out what to do.
thanks guys,
Ron

Ok... think you ment 6 bolt block... Do some looking if you want a 6 Bolt. I have 2 atm... One is a fully Built 6 Bolt and the other is going to be a 2.3 Stroker. Do some looking for people parting out their cars... You can find a 6 Bolt block for $100 I'm sure.. I'm not to sure but I think you might also want the crank as well.. Good luck..
