I have a 14b from a 91 eagle talon manual, and I wasn't sure of it's condition when I got it so I decided to take it apart. I would have marked it so that I put it back together the same way, but the nut was already loose and this turbo has been apart before, it looks like someone just cleaned it. Anyways, I completely disassembled it, all the bushings / bearings look good, the dust cap is in good shape, I cannot tell any damage or excessive wear except that one of the fins on the exhaust turbine has a small chip out of it.

My questions: Do you think I'll be okay using the chipped exhaust turbine? Also, what are some places / prices for balancing a turbo? Do you really think there's a serious risk to not balancing it?

Thanks in advance.

If i remember correctly Forced Performance balances the wheels for under $50 just give them a call and they will hook you up.
