I want to run my big28 to its max. My current mods are in my profile. My goal is to run a low 13. Here is what I am thinking for the set up.

1G BOV
Ported Fp Big28
3" turbo back exhaust
Dejontool Smic
Intercooler pipes
walbro 190
550cc injectors
S-AFC
ACT2100

My concern is 3" an overkill for the big28? Is the walbro 190 enough for a big28, and are 550cc injectors going to be enough? I searched a bit and got too many diffrent answers. I dont plan on ever getting a bigger turbo. I will greatly appreciate any input.

you set up looks good to me although get a data logger and steadily increase boost and keep a good tune on it.. turn that thing up to 20-21lbs and i think youll be easily in your target range with some good driving

3 inch is fine/bigger=better flow.
190 pump+550's are a perfect match for a BT-28.

Low 13's, with 100+ oct. and additional boost? One of these days I'll go to a track.

If you get that setup tuned, you should be doing better than low thirteens.

i currently have the big28 from forced and it can do much better numbers then 13's. hell forced performance's shop car with that turbo went high 11's. I know that it was running at its max and tuned like a champ, but i personally ran a 7.9 in 1/8 with it at 18lbs of boost and a half ass tune on 91/110 mix. and my 60' were crappy like 1.8's-1.9's. you will not have any prob seeing 12's with that turbo if you have supporting mods and know how to tune.

you and me both buddy. Im waiting for 550's and then when those and the SAFC go in ill see what im going to do about the I/C, might go with the Hahn Racecraft FMIC.
