stock tach rpm signal?

I can't remember what color wire it is, but on your tps (I can't remember the acronym for sure) there is a wire that you tap into. I can'r remember what color, but if no one else responds and you are really ambitious, here's how I finally found it because the color I was told wasn't the actual one:

I found the ecu 'map' on vfaq, and found the rpm signal wire, and then just use a voltmeter and checked for continuity between that wire and the other 4 wires (one at a time) coming from the tps.

Also, when I tested the 4 wires individually with a test light, the one that is the rpm signal actually killed the engine when I tested it...fwiw.

So yeah, that is where I tapped my shift lite.

I checked an old post of mine, it was the black one:

Good luck.

I appreciate the info, but I'm not trying to get a rpm signal, I'm trying to send a signal to the stock tach. I am asking which wire would I send my signal wire so that the signal can be read by the stock tach.
