Hey guys I am just a little curious

Today When i started my car i noticed something that may or may not be a problem, I turn on my car drive it around drives great and all and when i pull in the lot at school everything is silent and i can hear like a clicking... just pretty steady click click click... I opened the hood and put my head kinda close to the intake mani and i could hear it the strongest there.

do you guys have any ideas of what this could possibly be or where it could be coming from, just a question for you

Thanks
Andrew???

I would guess that it is just the injectors.
I wouldn't worry I know alot of people with noisy injectors.
Or most likely it is lifter tick, which is normal for our style of lifters.
I wouldn't lose sleep over it. ;)

The injectors are pulsing so they click (they open for a few millaseconds).
Usually isn't very loud at all.
What I am guessing it is probably lifter tick.

Maybe they might be dirty????(the injectors)

If it is your injectors clicking, then I beleive you have nothing to worry about. In autos class, we had to listen to the injectors with a stethescope. If there was clicking coming from them, then they were operating correctly. However if there is an uneven clicking or none at all, it may mean the injectors are not opening consistently or at all
