No worries here. My boy Kelvin has a 650 horsepower gsx and he did all his own work. And he will be doing all of mine.truwarrior said:Let me know too. I think the greddy looks decent too with the hi and low. I heard the apexi is can be a pain to setup.
. Take it easy. I just enjoy the finished product. Im lazy. EvolvingGST said:Dude, what turbo are you running to try to run 1.4 bar?
Try calling the guys at Apexi. They always seem to be real helpful.Scrymerr said:My AVC-R just doesnt feel like working right now. I had set it to 1.4bar, and it had just learned the duty. Now regardless of what I set it to, it boosts 24psi. It still reads boost fine, just doesnt change it. All wiring and vaccuum lines are hooked up

We had a local shop install the AVC-R but it seems they were not sure how to use it to set boost levels by gear. Can anyone help?Spyke169 said:I have a 97 gsx with a manual boost controller. i'm buying my firends AVC-R at the end of the month for really cheap. Would it be worth it for me to use it? or would I be better off selling it and spending the money on something else?

I launch in high boost (18psi) and pull low 2.1 60s all day long on street tires
You've done more than just invest in some decent tires to get those FWD 60s
