How to adjust a wastegate actuator?!?!?!?

I resently install an internally gated T3T4 50 trim with stage 3 wheel. I need help on how to adjust the wastegate actuator. I had it adjusted to what I thought was 15 lbs. It had held 15 lbs fine for a few days, but tonight I opened it up and "holy crap", my boost went to 30lbs!!! I don't think it caused any damage to the motor. It would be great to light up the tires at 80mph all the time, but my motor doesn't agree.
I am trying to get the gate in the right ballpark then put my controller on. Any help would be appreciated.

My car did that when I blew a hole in the wastegate hose. You might want to check that out.

You don't. You either use an MBC, other boost controller, or cut, thread and fiddle with the actuator rod.
