Ok this is the deal, I currently have the 3"gm maf blow through setup.. with the maft... I want to go back to the stock 2g maf but not sure exactly whati need.. I have a turbonetics .50 trim turbo, so wondering what exactly i need. Would i get the stock 2g maf and a 3" intake pipe without the bov recirculation, and a filter? or what would i need? if i get a 3" intake pipe to fit around my turbo would i need to keep my 3" gm maf? Just trin to convert back to stock intake setup as the 2g maf makes the car run a little better. Let me know thanks. Oh and if you have a nice setup for the 2g maf let me know interested in buying it.

Well if you are going back to the stock Maf then you cannot vent which is probably what you are doing now right? So you would essentially need a 2g Maf+intake Filter+intake a 3" one WITH recirc pipe+where you blow though is you can leave it or you have to get rid of it and get a new upper IC pipe as well.

Why do you want to go back and if you do how much for the upper IC and MAF????

I'm just going to replace the part of Upper ic pipe where the maf is with straight pipe, what company makes a 3" intake that would be good for this setup? i have the maf on the way just need filter and intake now.... thanks for the help.

why? because i cant get my car to start because the maft isnt dialed in yet, and was told "95%" of cars run better with the stock 2g maf, dont want to hassle with calibrating that thing.

I hear this also, I was once pondering GM or 2G... and for my particular use for my vehicle a 2G Maf would be perfect. Im not trying to make 500 whp, Im sure with the Maft tuned they work well, but in my opinion 2g Maf's work well for a street car with nice power that takes you to and from work everyday. Just my opinion. :thumb:
