So, after a crappy 1/4 mile time a couple of months ago, I decide to do a leak test.

What do I find?
Turbo needs rebuilt
Exhaust Manifold has cracks.

What do I do?
Purchage EvoIII turbo
Ported 2g o2 housing
Evo manifold

WHat happens during shipping:
Turbo get here fine
Manifold shipped to wrong address
o2 housing fell out of box and lost somewhere in the U.S.

What goes wrong during install lasting for over a week?
Break o2 sensor
Break ex manifold studs
While drilling out old ones drill too far and ruin the head and 1 head bolt
Break a new bolt in the turbo because it was the wrong one (Satan's fault)
and it broke with torque wrench cuz it was too long and had nowhere to
thread.
Break wheel lug
Still no o2 housing
Find broken balance shaft belt
Car alarm sensors quit working

What already went wrong just prior to this:
Datalogger cables or something isn't working
Brakes needed done, nopi sends me the 2 cylinder (or whatever ones) mines a 1.
Horsepower freaks sends me the wrong MSD wires
My greddy profec doesn't arrive on the gauranteed date of delivery
I forget to press my highboost button during the 1/4 mile mentioned in the
opening.

What I will have ended up doing during my turbo/manifold/o2 housing upgrade:
Dejontool intake
New turbo and lines, bolts, and so on.
Manifold swap.
New gaskets
Pulled head,
New head with revised lifter swap
New head gasket
New intake gasket
New o2 sensor
New Fuel filter
New timing and balance shaft belt
Timed car
Replaced wheel lug
Replaced lug nuts
Made EGR blockoff plate
Tapped Manifold
Oil change
Tranny flush/fluid change
Greddy remote switch
Riced my engine bay (some paint, some silicone hoses)
Cleaned TB
Cleaned Intake
More to come cuz I'm still putting it all together.

Shit.

sounds just like me, i just did a rnr 3" o2 elminator install on my stock system along with a ported 2g manifold install.

Luckily i only broke 1 manifold to turbo bolt about half threaded so i can still get it pretty tight luckily, manifold wouldnt fit on right cause the last owned of my car has studs in random places on the head that arent exactly straight so i had to bend them to fit on my 2g manifold. Have a hell of a time trying to get the 3 lower bolts out of the o2 housing to turbo housing, and for the grand finale i snap the stupid oil bolt from the head to the turbo. I dont know what it did, but i had to move the oil line to fit my manifold in so i take it off from the head and the turbo outlet pipe, and when i try to put it back i guess i stretched the line too much which put too much pressure on the bolt since its pretty much hollow so oil can flow through it and it just snaps. When i start up the car it starts leaking all over the place and now i cant find a place that has them for sale. Tried autozone, napa, and a couple other places. Also lucky in the transfer of my o2 housings i didnt break the o2 sensor, it was really on there though i had to vice it and heat it up with my blow torch to get it out, fitted really nice in my new o2 elminator.

Hopefully i wont have such a bad time in my next exhaust encounter for this time i used a crap load of anti-sieze on EVERY BOLT even near an exhaust part.

Exhaust looks and sounds great though, RnR is awsome

Sounds just like me. It started off as a turbo swap. Now I'm ripping the motor and head out. Since the head needs to be rebuild might as well do the motor. 150k original miles. Also the tranny needs rebuild so I might as well do that since its out the car. It's going to be a long winter project.
