Will a front mounted intercooler cause overheating? If no, which one is the best for 1g talon? Thanks for your help

It will not directly cause overheating, no.

But if your cooling system is not operating at full potential, you will see problems with your cooling system -- as a result of a heavier demand being placed on it.

People commonly blame FMIC's for cooling problems (because they put them on, problem starts then pull it off and problem is gone).... when it's not the FMIC's fault -- rather a flaw in their cooling system.

We use spearco cores... Overheating problems can sometimes be attributed to an FMIC overtaxing the cooling system... but most of the time the cooling issues are caused by lack of airflow to the radiator. Small FMICs w/ alot of endtank blocking the radiator are notorious for this. We've noted several of our street core customers having cooling issues.. where as our race core customers had very few complaints. If there is a weakness in your cooling system.. the FMIC will prolly push you over the edge & the problem will need to be rectified.
