And i want to put the dodge neon SRT-4 motor in my car but i dont know how hard it will be and were the heck do i get the motor ive looked and looked but i cant find it no were and how much it will cost . Does anybody know were i can find a SRT-4 motor at and how much it will cost me?????

Why in the world do you want to put the Srt4 engine in a DSM? That makes no sense to me. It probably wont fit without serious modification to the body and engine mounts. Theyre completely different cars and chasis. If youre willing to spend that much money you may as well sell your car and buy a turbo 1g DSM for 1/8th of the money youll spend.

I know you hate hearing sell your car but really, putting the srt4 engine in is not econimical. It would be a waste. You could probably buy a used srt4 with the money youd spend on your conversion.

Now wait just a second... the 420a is a neon motor, isn't it? So why wouldn't the SRT4 use the same bell housing as the other neons... makes sense to me that that part of it might just bolt up... as for the engine mounts... well, that may need to be fabbed... but, I don't know... it's an interesting idea.. I say go do your homework on the 2gna and neon sites, talk to some mechanics that work on these... I don't think this would be any more in depth than putting a 6 bolt in a 2g... probably mostly wiring... but I could be wrong... so don't take my word on this ;)
