whats up with that? IAM missing the 02 sensor and alt heat shields but you cannot get them anymore. Unless someone has them 4 sale on hea???

That is pretty typical. Most people go through 2-4 rebuild alternators before they find a good one. It is a good thing that most of them come with a life time warranty .

But do make sure that you do not leak any oil on your alternator. Leaking PS pump can sometimes destroy it.

i changed 4 in mine few years ago untill i got brand new one of a motor club i am in down here 300$aus and it made my batt last another 6 months 4years total made my windows work twice as fast and the car performs and glows.
I might add that in new stator that you cannot blow resoldered and glued windings .

yup, went through 3 before finding a good rebuilt one. but hey, like the previous post stated, when you have a lifetime warranty......who cares.

Unreal! It's a constant fight for me, first in my 1g now in my 2g! Does anyone know if a 1g 2.0 non-turbo alternator is the same, or will work on a 2g turbo?
